| Chalk It Up! is an annual sidewalk chalk art festival, with music, vendors, and much more! Proceeds go to help Learn to Read North West Florida. This year will be our second year, so we're hoping for an even bigger turnout than ever! Registrations for artists will begin later in February, so check back and LIKE us to keep updated! 2012 Categories: Turn a Page, Change a Life - Artwork which shows the importance of literacy to individuals or society in general. Pensacola Is... - Artwork should depict some aspect of life in Pensacola or a location significant to the artist which reflects local culture. My Favorite Book - Artwork should depict an image inspired by the artist's favorite book. Off the Wall... and onto the Sidewalk - Open category allowing the artist flexibility in the subject matter. Prizes will be $100 for any category and $200 for Best in Show. There is an currently undetermined prize for People's Choice. Check back later for details on that! |
