Hosted by the Panhandle Cruisers Car Club and Pensacola's Downtown Improvement Board (DIB), the event is a perfect family adventure. Kids will be drawn to the older cars with the sparkling chrome bumpers, not to mention the early 1900 models which reached top speeds of 27mph and utilized gas lanterns for headlights.

"The Panhandle Cruisers Car Club puts on an awesome show, and the event is the perfect way to enjoy a relaxing Saturday checking out the cars, talking to the owners, and enjoy an outdoor lunch or dinner and some shopping as well," said Alex Colley, DIB Program Manager.

Plenty of fun and dancing in the street is also on tap with live music provided by A.D.D., a regional band covering the best cruising music, and a host of food and beverage vendors will be set up throughout the venue. Cars will be parked from 9:00am to 4:00pm on North Palafox St., between Garden St. and Wright. St, allowing for optimum viewing.

Part of the great fun comes from meeting and talking to the owners of these prized possessions. Years and years of restoration labor, constant searching for almost non-existent parts, and continuous polishing and rigorous maintenance are the hallmark of a car collector. Many trailer their vehicles to the show to keep them in pristine condition. Don't be surprised to see some cars valued at over $200,000.
