| First Place $300 2012 Gulf Coast Idol at Seville Quarter. Gulf Coast Idol is returning to Seville Quarter. Singers will be judged on their vocal talent, stage presence, personality and audience response. Like the television show each performer will get a verbal critique by each of the judges – but none of our judges are "Simon". Auditions will be held on May 23rd, 30th, June 6th, 13th starting at 9:30(contestants must sign up between 8:30 and 9:00). Each week three winners will wine weekly prizes and advance to finals to be held on Monday, June 20th. The twelve finalists will each perform one song. The top six singers will sing a second song for the judges. The 2012 Gulf Coast Idol will get to record their own demo at the Lucky K Studio and receive $300 cash. Second place will win $200 cash and third place will win $100 cash. All three of the winners will get a prize package from Seville Quarter and Coca Cola. The contest is open to talented singers age 21 and up. Participants may bring their own music (on compact disk), pick from our selections (this is not a karaoke contest). There is no fee to enter the contest. |
