Pensacola is a very old city as far as US cities go.
There are plenty of small museums that offer a glimpse of our jaded past. There are lots of nice tours and old stuff to see.The fishing is great. There are still some areas of natural scenic beauty that have not been raped by developers. They offer great spots for walks, picnics, and such. The surf around here ain't too bad. There are nearby rivers for camping, canoeing and tubing.The Naval Air Station has an awesome Aviation Museum. There are some local eateries that offer traditional Pensacola Seafood dishes. I'll cover all of these here soon with personal reviews, suggestions and driving directions.
